Malia Park Cat cafe

Malia Park Hotel has hosted a CAWG Cat Café since 2003.

This year we have successfully extended our cooperation with the hotel management by holding regular fundraising and public awareness activities on the premises for the hotel guests and locals also offering them the chance to meet some of our animals and ride on our young donkey, Hebe. This was initiated by Mrs. Pavlidou, the hotel’s Guest Relations Officer and her idea to hold an Environmental Week with various guest speakers and activities.

Furthermore, we have strategically set up a Cat Café at a near by restaurant which means any cats migrating between the two facilities will be better monitored and cared for, covering a larger area.
We wish to thank Malia Park Hotel and the Cretan Family taverna for their support and cooperation and hope to see many more tourism businesses follow their example.

We would also like to take this chance to inform you that Mr. Kaloudis, former manager of the Malia Park hotel is now continuing his work with animals in Ammoudara and we wish him all the best in his new position as manager of the Agapi hotel.
