Atrion Hotel helps again!

The Atrion Hotel in Heraklion Crete kindly held our 2012 AGM and is now offering free accommodation to a volunteer consultant who will be helping CAWS create its 2013-2015 strategy and budgets. We are very grateful for this support and hope that the CAWS-Atrion partnership and cooperation may continue, ensuring that the majority of our funds are spent directly on animal welfare work!

Feliz is looking for a (foster)home!

As her foster parents moved away from Crete for a while, Feliz is looking for a new fosterhome….

But it would even be better if she could find her forever home!

Who wants to help this beautiful girl that fought so hard to get better?

To remind you…

Today is the 1 year anniversary since we first reported to you about Feliz…

She is a wonderful dog! Nothing the matter with her anymore! Her foster parents were devastated to have to part with her…so there must be somebody out there that wants to give her the love and care she so deserves!!!

For more information on Feliz or if you want to arrange to meet her please contact info@CretanAnimalWelfare.org

The Egg Test – Answer 1

The answer is right!

Yes. Chickens can fly, but not very high and not for a long distance. They fly to avoid obstacles or predators on the surface. Or at night to reach a branch in a tree, where they will be safe from predators.
